Zycel 200 Capsule

• Zycel 200 mg capsule is used for relieving pain, swelling and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders such as arthritis, muscle spasm, menstrual cramps, etc.
• It is also used for the short-term treatment of acute pain.

• If you are allergic to celecoxib or any of the ingredients of Zycel 200 mg capsule
• If you are allergic to sulfonamides class of medicines
• If you are suffering from peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding
• If you have any kidney or liver disease, intestine disease, any heart problems
• If you experienced any side effect like wheezing, asthma after taking any other pain medications like aspirin and Ibuprofen in the past
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding

• Stomach pain
• Diarrhoea
• Indigestion
• Constipation
• High blood pressure

Other General Warnings

• You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• You are an aged person (above 65 years).
• You are suffering from liver disease or kidney disease.
• You are suffering from vomiting or diarrhoea and are dehydrated.
• You have swelling due to fluid retention (excess fluid in the body).
• You have a history of heart failure or other diseases related to the heart.
• You have high blood pressure. Your doctor may need to check your blood pressure more often.
• You are a diabetic, smoker or have high cholesterol as all these increases the chance of heart disease.

• Zycel 200 mg capsule should be taken as directed by your doctor.
• It can be taken with or without food.
• It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results.
• You should not consume it more than that prescribed by your doctor.

• Store Zycel 200 mg capsule in a cool and dry place, protected from direct sunlight, moisture and heat.
• Keep it away from children and pets.

Overdose

Missed a Dose

• If you missed any dose, take it as soon as you remember.
• If it is time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule.
• Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for a missed one.

• Zycel 200 mg capsule can interact with other medicines taken at the same time and produce an altered response. Tell your doctor about all the medicines, herbals or supplements you are taking or might take.
• In particular, if you are taking blood-thinning medicines, certain anti-infectives, immunomodulators, high blood pressure medicines, medicines for treating uneven heart rate, anti-asthmatics, oral contraceptives, certain hormonal preparation, etc.
