The Zeford Tablets has Clonazepam as the main ingredient. Clonazepam belongs to a category of drugs known as Benzodiazepines. It works by regulating certain chemicals in the brain that produce a calming effect and also helps the person to focus in a better way. Zeford Tablets should only be taken according to the dose and duration recommended by the doctor. Please report good medical history to the doctor at the consultation to avoid further complications. - Zeford 0.25 mg Tablets should not be taken if -
- You are allergic or are hypersensitive to Clonazepam or other Benzodiazepines.
- You have a Liver Disorder.
- You have Glaucoma.
- You have Myasthenia Gravis (muscular disorder).
- You have a Blood Disorder.
- You have a Mental Disorder, or your family has had any history of mental illness or substance abuse.
- You are Pregnant or Breastfeeding.

- You have a history of eye, liver and kidney disorders.

- You are taking any other medicine at present.
- You should inform the doctor if you are taking any vitamins or supplements along with the Tablets prescribed, even if the supplement is Herbal, Ayurvedic or any other category.
- You are below 18 years of age.
- You want to alter the dose of the Zeford Tablets. Do not discontinue the Tablets as it might worsen the current situation.
- You are pregnant or planning a pregnancy.

How Does It Work?
Directions for Use
- Zeford Tablets have to be taken according to the doctor’s recommendation.
- It is usually prescribed as a long term medication about 2-3 times a day.
- The Tablets have to be taken at the same time every day.
- Zeford Tablets can be taken with or without the food, although it is better to consume the Tablets with food to avoid any stomach problems.
- The Tablets should be taken orally with water. The Tablets should not be distorted in any way by either chewing or crushing for use.
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Clarithromycin (antibiotic), Ketoconazole (an antifungal medicine), and Diltiazem (medicine for high blood pressure) can decrease the metabolism of Zeford.
- Aceclofenac (pain killer) and Cimetidine (medicine for the treatment of heartburn) can delay the excretion of Zeford.
- Hydrocodone, Codeine (pain killer) and Cyclobenzaprine (muscle relaxant) can increase the depression of the nervous system if taken along with Zeford Tablets.
- Alprazolam (anti-anxiety medicine) can increase the severity of side effects.
- Acetaminophen (pain killer) increases the metabolism of Zeford.
