Yogazam 10 mg tablet is a prescription medication that contains clobazam as an active ingredient. Clobazam belongs to a special class of medicines known as benzodiazepines. Benzodiazepines are know
n for their sleep-inducing, anti-seizure, sedating and muscle relaxant activities. Seizures (also called convulsions) are uncontrolled and abnormal activity in the brain, which leads to uncontrollable shaking with rapid contractions and relaxation of muscles. There can be blackouts, changes in behaviour, frothing at the corners of the mouth, eye movements, loss of bladder, bowel control, falling, clenching of teeth, etc. as its side effects. So it has to be used with caution only after the recommendations of a doctor.

- You develop painful rashes in the body from Stevens-Johnson syndrome (a very serious condition resulting from a medication or infection that produces flu-like symptoms at the beginning and then painful rashes)....
- You develop weakness in the body, or you are suffering from a condition known as Myasthenia Gravis (a condition in which the body's muscles become very weak).
- You experience a sudden change in your behaviour and gets a tendency to self-harm. This medicine is known for producing suicidal tendencies, especially on long-term use.
- You notice yellowish discolouration of the eyes or face or any other part of the body. This medicine can impair your liver functions, more so if you already have some problem related to your liver.
- You are a sports person. You must get a recommendation from the sports committee.

How Does It Work?
Directions for Use of Yogazam 10 MG
- Use Yogazam 10 mg tablet as per the advice of your doctor.
- Take it for as long as you are advised.
- Take this medicine with a glass of water.
- Take it with or without food.
- Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor, as it may lead to withdrawal effects.
- Do not use the medication if the packaging is damaged. Get a fresh one.
- Do not use the medicine if the date of expiry has passed.
Interactions of Yogazam 10 MG
Interactions with other medicines
- Clobazam can produce serious life-threatening problems if you take it with the following:
- Any sleeping pill like alprazolam or clonazepam will increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, and difficulty concentrating.
- Fentanyl (an opioid) can cause central nervous system depression and serious side effects, including respiratory distress, coma and even death.
- Codeine (an opioid) can cause central nervous system depression.
- Oxycodone (an opioid) can cause central nervous system depression.
Interactions with food items
- There is no specific food that should be avoided.
- Try not to have too much oily and spicy food, as Yogazam can make you feel nauseated even more with oily and spicy food.
- Keep a close watch on your food and your behaviour after having it.
