Yogazam 10 mg tablet is a prescription medication that contains clobazam as an active ingredient. Clobazam belongs to a special class of medicines known as benzodiazepines. Benzodiazepines are know

n for their sleep-inducing, anti-seizure, sedating and muscle relaxant activities. Seizures (also called convulsions) are uncontrolled and abnormal activity in the brain, which leads to uncontrollable shaking with rapid contractions and relaxation of muscles. There can be blackouts, changes in behaviour, frothing at the corners of the mouth, eye movements, loss of bladder, bowel control, falling, clenching of teeth, etc. as its side effects. So it has to be used with caution only after the recommendations of a doctor.

  • Clobazam can produce serious life-threatening problems if you take it with the following:
  • Any sleeping pill like alprazolam or clonazepam will increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, and difficulty concentrating.
  • Fentanyl (an opioid) can cause central nervous system depression and serious side effects, including respiratory distress, coma and even death.
  • Codeine (an opioid) can cause central nervous system depression.
  • Oxycodone (an opioid) can cause central nervous system depression.
