Mode of Action of Ymox E/E Drops
How Does It Work?
Ymox E contains an antibiotic called moxifloxacin and acts by stopping the bacteria that cause the eye infection from replicating and killing them.
Directions for Use of Ymox E/E Drops
The amount prescribed for Ymox E is based on the health of the patient as judged by the physician. Modification in the dosage is not recommended without consulting a doctor first. The medicine is only for eye use. Wash you hands and then using a clean finger pull your lower eyelid. Instill 2-3 drops in the affected eye in this pocket created. Do not touch the dropper anywhere....
Storage and disposal of Ymox E/E Drops
- Keep out of children's reach
- Store this medicine under normal conditions and away from direct heat, sunlight and moisture
- Follow the medical waste management protocol for the proper disposal of this medicine
- Do not use the medicine if you see any cloudy appearance
Dosage of Ymox E/E Drops
Overdose
Do not use an extra amount of Ymox E as it will not benefit you. In case of accidental overuse, visit your doctor. Try to wash off the extra medicine in case of an overdose of eyedrops.
Missed a Dose
In case you forgot to use the medicine, the dose should be taken as soon as you remembers. In case the time for the next dose is close the previously missed dose can be skipped as doubling the dose is not recommended....
