Volix M 0.3 mg Tablet is an anti-diabetic medicine containing a combination of two medicines Voglibose and Metformin. It is effective in treating type 2 diabetes mellitus and is used when diet, exerc
ise or any single medicine is not able to control your blood sugar levels. Avoid using Volix M 0.3 mg tablets if you are allergic to it, have any kidney or heart diseases, consume alcohol or are pregnant or breastfeeding. Few of the side effects of Volix 0.3 mg Tablet are nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, stomach pain, most of which are temporary. But if you feel the side effects persist or your condition worsens, you should contact your doctor immediately.

Uses of Volix M 0.3mg Strip Of 10 Tablets
Volix M 0.3 mg Tablet is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus, when diet, exercise or a single medicine are unable to control the blood sugar level.
Contraindications of Volix M 0.3mg Strip Of 10 Tablets
- If you are allergic to Metformin or Voglibose or any of the ingredients of Volix M 0.3 mg tablet.
- If you have any kind of kidney or heart problem.
- If you are in a state of diabetic coma due to sudden rise or drop in blood sugar level.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- If you have severe infections or GI tract obstruction.
- If you consume alcohol regularly.

Mode of Action of Volix M 0.3mg Strip Of 10 Tablets
How Does It Work?
- Volix M 0.3 mg Tablet works by the combined action of Metformin and Voglibose.
- Metformin works by decreasing the amount of glucose absorbed from the intestine, lowering the amount of sugar created by the liver, and facilitating the entry of sugar into the cells.
- Voglibose delays digestion and absorption of carbohydrates in the intestines and thereby prevents a spike in blood glucose levels that occur after a meal.
Directions for Use of Volix M 0.3mg Strip Of 10 Tablets
Volix M 0.3 mg Tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor. Swallow it whole with a glass of water, do not cut, break or chew the medicine. It should be taken with food. It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results and should not consume it more than that prescribed by your doctor....

Interactions with other medicines
- Few medicines which can cause lactic acidosis (excessive acid accumulation) like cimetidine, digoxin, morphine, quinidine, ranitidine, etc.
