- Tusq LS Sugar Free Oral Liquid is a combination medicine used to treat cough with mucus, also known as wet cough
Contraindications
- If you are allergic to ambroxol, guaifenesin, levosalbutamol or any of the ingredients of Tusq LS Sugar Free Oral Liquid.
- If you are suffering from stomach or gastric ulcers.
- If you are suffering from allergic reactions like itching and rashes.
- If you have any heart condition or significant risk factors for ischaemic heart disease.

Directions for Use
- Shake Tusq LS Sugar Free Oral Liquid well before use, and do not drink directly from the bottle.
- Use a measuring cup, dropper or spoon to ensure you take the exact quantity prescribed by your doctor.
- You can take it with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.
- Read the instructions on the bottle before use.

- Store below 30°C in a clean and dry place, protected from moisture, sunlight and heat.
- Keep the medicine away from children and pets.
- Do not flush this medicine down the toilet or pour it into the drain. Discard it properly when it is expired or no longer needed.

Interactions with other medicines
- Codeine and similar cough suppressants (severe): using them with Tusq LS Sugar Free Oral Liquid can reduce your natural cough reflex and cause mucus to build up in the lungs, leading to breathing difficulty or blocked airways. Do not use together unless specifically prescribed.
- Amitriptyline (severe): may increase the effects of this medicine on your heart, leading to high blood pressure, fast heart rate or anxiety. Do not use together unless clearly advised by your doctor.
- Dextromethorphan (moderate): it stops the cough reflex while this medicine loosens mucus, so the mucus may not be cleared, increasing the risk of chest congestion or infection.
- Digoxin (moderate): this medicine may lower digoxin levels in the blood, possibly reducing its effectiveness and increasing the risk of heart rhythm problems.
- Frusemide (moderate): furosemide can lower potassium levels, and combining it with this medicine increases the risk of very low potassium, which can cause muscle cramps, weakness or irregular heartbeat.
- Tell your doctor about all medicines, supplements and herbal products you are taking.
