Ticasave Tablet is used to reduce heart-related conditions such as heart failure in patients with preexisting heart conditions. Ticasave Tablet contains ticagrelor, as the active ingredient. It is co

mmonly known as a blood thinner or antiplatelet medicine. Ticagrelor is known to prevent the formation of new blood clots, thus aiding in smooth blood flow through the vessels. Take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor for the prescribed duration. Do not miss or skip the dose of this medicine. Contraindications of Ticasave 60 MG

If you are allergic to ticagrelor or any other ingredients of Ticasave Tablet.
If you have any active bleeding.
If you have a history of intracranial bleeding or bleeding from ulcers in the stomach or intestine.
If you are not being restricted to take aspirin.
If you are already taking certain medications such as ketoconazole, clarithromycin (antibiotics), antidepressants, anti-viral medicines, etc.

Pregnancy

Can I take Ticasave Tablet during pregnancy?

It should not be used during pregnancy as it may cause harm to the unborn baby. Thus it is not recommended to use Ticasave Tablet if you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant. Women should use appropriate contraceptive measures to avoid pregnancy while taking this medicine.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Ticasave Tablet while breastfeeding?

The components of this medicine pass into the breastmilk in small amounts and may affect the breastfed baby. A breastfeeding mother should take this medicine only under the doctor's recommendation. If prescribed, then close monitoring of the breastfed infant is advised for the symptoms of bruising and bleeding.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Ticasave Tablet?

Generally, ticagrelor does not affect the ability to drive, but if you feel confused or dizzy after taking this, do not drive.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Ticasave Tablet?

Avoid consuming alcohol while undergoing treatment with this medicine as it increases the risk of bleeding from the intestine and stomach.
