Medical Description
Thyroxinol 50 Tablet is a medicine used to treat hypothyroidism, a condition where the thyroid gland does not produce enough thyroid hormones. It contains levothyroxine, a synthetic form of thyroxine, which is naturally produced by the thyroid gland. By supplementing this hormone, Thyroxinol 50 Tablet helps restore normal metabolism and body functions affected by low thyroid levels.
Hypothyroidism can cause symptoms such as fatigue, weight gain, constipation, muscle pain, hair loss, increased sensitivity to cold, low mood, and irregular menstrual cycles in women. Thyroxinol 50 Tablet works to alleviate these symptoms by regulating hormone levels and supporting overall energy and metabolism. Regular use ensures better control of hypothyroid symptoms and promotes overall well-being.
You should take Thyroxinol 50 Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The dose and duration are individualized based on your thyroid hormone levels, age, and overall health. It is usually taken in the morning on an empty stomach for optimal absorption. Do not change the dose or stop the medicine without consulting your doctor, as this may affect thyroid balance.
Elderly patients, individuals with heart disease, or those with adrenal gland disorders should use Thyroxinol 50 Tablet with caution. Inform your doctor about your complete medical history and any other medications or supplements you are taking to prevent potential interactions and ensure safe treatment.
Some people may experience side effects such as palpitations, increased heart rate, sweating, or allergic reactions. If you notice severe or persistent side effects, contact your doctor immediately. Regular blood tests to monitor thyroid function are important to adjust the dosage and ensure optimal treatment outcomes with Thyroxinol 50 Tablet.
