Tendia M Tablet is a combination of two medicines, Teneligliptin and Metformin. It is an anti-diabetic medicine. This medicine is used to lower the high blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes mellitus, along with lifestyle changes. This medicine works best when used along with a healthy diet and regular exercise. This medicine will help you keep your sugar levels in control and reduce the risk of diabetes complications. Zita Met Plus 20/500 tablets, Dynaglipt M tablets, Ziten M 20/500mg tablets and Teniva M tablets are a few other examples of a combination of Teneligliptin and Metformin.
Always take Tendia M Tablet as prescribed by your doctor and at the same time to gain optimal benefit. Do not stop taking this medicine abruptly. It may lead to serious health consequences. You may experience the most common side effects, such as diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, headache and low blood sugar levels (hypoglycemia). - Tendia M Tablet should be used with caution along with medicine that enhances your blood sugar lowering effect like Isocarboxazid, Phenelzine, Propranolol and medicines that reduce your blood sugar lowering effect like steroids, etc....
- Medicines used to treat inflammation and pain (NSAIDs), like ibuprofen and celecoxib, should be used with caution.
- Medicines like verapamil (used to treat blood pressure and other heart problems), rifampicin (antibiotic), and Olaparib (used in cancer treatment), when used concomitantly, may reduce the effects of this medicine....
- Medicines used to treat inflammation associated with asthma and arthritis (corticosteroids), like betamethasone and prednisone, should be cautiously used along with this medicine.

Decreased absorption of vitamin B12 may result in Vitamin B12 deficiency, further resulting in anaemia and nerve problems. Decreased levels of vitamin B12 may cause tingling sensation and numbness in hands and feet, weakness, urinary problems and difficulty in maintaining balance (ataxia). It is advised to get your Vitamin B12 levels checked annually.
