Taxitorin is an antibiotic tablet used to treat bacterial infections. Its active ingredient cefditoren works by stopping the growth of bacteria that cause infections.

Storage and disposal

Store Taxitorin tablet in a cool and dry place away from sunlight at room temperature. Keep it in the original packaging. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose schedule. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one.

Cefditoren kills bacteria by preventing them from forming their protective outer cell wall, which they need to survive and spread.

Interactions with other medicines

Some medicines can affect how this tablet works. Tell your doctor about all medicines you are taking. Antacids and H2-blocker medicines used for acid reflux can reduce the absorption of this medicine, so take them at least 2 hours apart. Tell your doctor if you are taking anti-inflammatory medicines such as ibuprofen.
