- You develop any skin reactions or allergic reactions after applying Spot-On gel.
- You have any health condition, planned surgery or vaccination.
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You are taking any other medicines or are applying any topical medicine.
- You should not use Spot-On gel if you are allergic to any of its components.
- Avoid contact with eyes, nose and in case of contact, immediately wash the area with water.
Directions for Use
- Use Spot-On gel as suggested by the doctor.
- It is meant for external use only.
- Take an adequate amount of gel and apply on the affected area.
- Wash your hands before and after using this medicine unless your hands are the area to be treated.
- In case your eyes come in contact with this medicine rinse your eyes with clean water immediately.
Storage and disposal
- Store Spot-On gel at room temperature in a clean and dry place, protected from moisture, sunlight and heat.
- Keep the medicine out of reach of children and pets.
Ingredients and Benefits
- Spot-On gel contains diclofenac, methyl salicylate, menthol, linseed oil, benzyl alcohol and capsaicin.
- Diclofenac: It reduces swelling and inflammation and is useful in relieving pain. It acts by reducing the production of certain substances which are responsible for pain and inflammation.
- Methyl salicylate: It has anti-inflammatory properties. It stimulates nerve endings that relieve symptoms of pain.
- Menthol: It dilates the blood vessels, this produces a cooling sensation and thus provides relief from pain.
- Linseed oil: It is known to have anti-inflammatory action and it reduces redness & swelling.
- Benzyl alcohol: It is an effective aesthetic.
- Capsaicin: It has effective pain-relieving properties. It stimulates and then reduces the intensity of pain signals in your body.
