Sii Onco Bcg 40mg Injection contains weakened, live culture of the BCG bacteria. It is used as a therapy for prevention against recurrent tumours in patients with urinary bladder and to prevent recurrence of cancer.

Uses

  • Treatment of primary or recurrent bladder cancer
  • Prevention of recurrence of bladder cancer following transurethral resection

Contraindications

  • Immunosuppressed patients
  • Congenital or acquired immune deficiencies, e.g., AIDS, leukaemia
  • Concurrent febrile illness
  • Urinary tract infection
  • Gross hematuria
  • Patients with active tuberculosis
  • Allergy to the contents of this injection
