Resodim 30 MG Description
Resodim 30mg Tablet contains Tolvaptan as the active molecule. It is used to reduce blood sodium levels in patients with hyponatraemia. Tolvaptan blocks the effect of a natural substance, thereby cau
sing an increase in urination. Increased urination further reduces sodium levels in the body. This medication is only available on a doctor's prescription and should be taken strictly as the doctor recommends. Resodim 30mg Tablet is not recommended in children and adolescents. It is also not advised in a pregnant or breastfeeding woman. Resodim 30mg Tablet causes headache, dizziness, dehydration, palpitations, and decreased appetite as side effects. If these effects persist or worsen, contact your doctor immediately.

- Co-administration ciprofloxacin, crizotinib, darunavir, ritonavir, amprenavir, aprepitant, atazanavir, diltiazem, erythromycin, fluconazole, fosamprenavir, imatinib, verapamil, itraconazole, ketoconazole, ritonavir, or clarithromycin increases tolvaptan levels in body...
- Concomitant use of rifampicin, rifabutin, rifapentine, phenytoin, carbamazepine, can decrease tolvaptan exposure and effectiveness
- Concomitant use of Resodim with medicines that increase serum sodium concentration causes excessive levels of sodium in blood
- Concomitant use of diuretics may lead to severe dehydration
- Resodim may increase plasma concentrations of lovastatin
- Concomitant administration Digoxin is known to result in increased concentrations of Digoxin in blood
- Resodim is blocks the effect of vasopressin
- Co-administration Rosuvastatin, sulfasalazine, and metformin increases levels of these medicines in the body
