- Hypervolemic hyponatremia associated with congestive heart failure, cirrhosis and SIADH

Interactions with other medicines
- Co-administration ciprofloxacin, crizotinib, darunavir, ritonavir, amprenavir, aprepitant, atazanavir, diltiazem, erythromycin, fluconazole, fosamprenavir, imatinib, verapamil, itraconazole, ketoconazole, ritonavir, or clarithromycin increases tolvaptan levels in body
- Concomitant use of rifampicin, rifabutin, rifapentine, phenytoin, carbamazepine, can decrease tolvaptan exposure and effectiveness
- Concomitant use of Resodim with medicines that increase serum sodium concentration causes excessive levels of sodium in blood
- Concomitant use of diuretics may lead to severe dehydration
- Resodim may increase plasma concentrations of lovastatin
- Concomitant administration Digoxin is known to result in increased concentrations of Digoxin in blood
- Resodim is blocks the effect of vasopressin
- Co-administration Rosuvastatin, sulfasalazine, and metformin increases levels of these medicines in the body
Interactions with food items
- Co-administration of Resodim with grapefruit juice may double the effect of the Resodim 30mg tablet
