Relent Tablet
Description
Relent Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat coughs with mucus and relieve allergic symptoms such as itching, sneezing, runny or stuffy nose, cough, congestion, and watery eyes. It contains Ambroxol and Cetirizine, which work together to improve breathing and reduce allergy-related discomfort.
Ambroxol acts as a mucolytic agent, loosening thick mucus in the airways to make coughing more effective, while Cetirizine is an antihistamine that inhibits the release of histamine, the chemical responsible for allergy symptoms. This dual action helps clear the airways and relieve allergic reactions efficiently.
Relent Tablet should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Regular and consistent use ensures optimal relief from symptoms. Avoid skipping doses or changing the dose on your own. It is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, or for children below 6 years, without consulting a doctor.
Some other tablets containing Ambroxol and Cetirizine include the Zyrcold tablet. While taking Relent Tablet, be aware that it may cause dizziness in some people. Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery if you feel dizzy, and take precautions to minimize exposure to dust, smoke, and pollution.
Following your doctor’s instructions and maintaining a healthy environment can enhance the effectiveness of Relent Tablet. If side effects like dizziness persist or symptoms do not improve, consult your doctor promptly for further guidance.
