Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

No, do not stop using the R Cin Capsule any time in the middle of the treatment, even if you think you are feeling better. Tuberculosis bacteria die very slowly, and it takes a long time to eliminate them completely. In case you stop in the middle, these bacteria multiply again and sometimes gain resistance to the current treatment. This causes reinfection and makes it even harder to kill the Tuberculosis bacteria.

It is not ideal to wear contact lenses while on this treatment. R Cin medicine can change the colour of eyes, urine, etc., to orange. This colour change is not harmful. However, it can permanently change the colour of your contact lenses.

Let your doctor know about your medical history and treatments before taking this medicine. Using an R Cin Capsule with medications that cause bleeding will increase the chances of bleeding. It lowers the levels of vitamin K, which is needed for blood clotting. Therefore, vitamin K supplements are recommended.
