Primcyv 125mg Strip Of 7 Capsules (Pack Of 3)
Description
Primcyv capsule is used to treat certain types of breast cancer (estrogen receptor-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative) that have spread to other organs. It is given alongside hormonal anticancer therapies. It should be taken with food, and you should try to take it at the same time every day to maximise its benefits. Your doctor will determine the necessary dose and frequency of administration based on your condition, which may change over time. You should take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Some common side effects of this medication include fatigue, hair loss, rash, vomiting, and diarrhoea. This medication may reduce the number of blood cells (decreasing red and white blood cells in your blood), thereby increasing susceptibility to infections. It is advisable to inform your doctor if you notice any symptoms of infection, such as fever, chills, weakness, bleeding, bruising, or nosebleeds. It may also cause dizziness; if this occurs, avoid driving or engaging in attention-demanding activities.
Before taking it, inform your doctor if you have heart disease, liver, or kidney problems, or if you are taking any medications to treat infections. Many other medications can affect or be affected by this medicine, so inform your healthcare team about all medications you are using. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. The use of effective contraception by both males and females during treatment is essential to avoid pregnancy.
