Pirotum 750mg Injection
Description
Pirotum injection is an antibiotic medicine used to treat serious bacterial infections like pneumonia, urinary tract infections, and skin infections. It also helps patients with low white blood cell counts who may be at risk of infection. The active ingredient in Pirotum injection is cefepime. This medicine works by killing bacteria by breaking down their outer wall, which they need to survive.
You should not take Pirotum injection if you are allergic to it or corn products. Common side effects may include headache, pain, rash, fever, nausea, vomiting, or stomachache. This medicine is administered to you by a doctor or nurse in the hospital; you should not attempt to inject it yourself. Always inform your doctor about all other medications you are taking, especially strong diuretics or certain other antibiotics, as they can interact with Pirotum injection and affect your kidneys.
