- Medications for asthma- e.g., theophylline. - increase blood levels of petril tablet leading to signs of overdose
- Other sleep-inducing medicines.- increased effects of petril tablet leading to signs of overdose
- Medicines for the heart- verapamil. - increase blood levels of petril tablet leading to signs of overdose
- If the patient is already taking any form of medicine- herbal, homoeopathy or any other alternative medicine, they should always inform their doctor before starting the medicine.

- Try to keep your caffeine intake in check while taking Petril tablets.
- Petril Tablet can be taken with or without food. But the medicine must be taken same time every day.
