Medical Description

Ipca Laboratories is an antiemetic medicine used to prevent and control nausea and vomiting, which may occur after chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Metoclopramide is the active ingredient in this medication. It works by inhibiting dopamine, a natural body chemical that causes nausea and vomiting.

Nausea and vomiting may be caused by underlying conditions or by certain medicines. This medicine speeds up stomach emptying and intestinal motility, which helps control and prevent nausea and vomiting.

Reglan 10mg tablets also include metoclopramide. Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor, in the exact dose and duration. Perinorm tablets should preferably be taken on an empty stomach. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Do not take more than the recommended dose. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of its components.
