Medical Description
Panderm ++ cream is used for the treatment of inflammation and swelling in various skin conditions suspected to have bacterial fungal, or mixed infections. This cream helps in reducing the symptoms like redness, swelling and itchiness. Panderm Plus Plus contains a combination of three medicines: clobetasol, neomycin and miconazole. Clobetasol is a steroid and has anti-inflammatory properties. Neomycin is an antibacterial agent, and miconazole is an antifungal agent.
Panderm Plus Plus cream should only be used externally and must not be used for any other skin conditions without consulting your doctor. It should be applied exactly as recommended by your doctor. Wash your hands after applying Panderm ++ cream. Avoid contact with this cream with the eyes.
The medicines Clobenate Gm cream and Lucobet Gm cream also include clobetasol, neomycin, and miconazole. Keep the infected/affected area clean and avoid touching healthy skin after applying Panderm Plus Plus cream to avoid the spread of infection. You may experience some application site reactions as side effects of Panderm ++ cream, but they normally fade away with time. Please report to your doctor if you notice the side effects persist or worsen.

Contraindications of PANDERM PLUS PLUS TUBE OF 15GM CREAM
- If you are allergic to clobetasol, neomycin, miconazole or any of the ingredients in the Panderm ++ cream.
- If you are using it for treating infection in and around the genitals or anal area, face, acne and skin perforations.
- If you have any untreated skin infections or skin thinning problems.
- If you have acne, rashes or skin conditions around your mouth and in the external ear canal.
- If you have chickenpox, shingles, warts or any other wounds and skin infections.
- Panderm Plus Plus cream should not be used in children below 2 years of age and for nappy rash.

How Does It Work?
- During inflammation or infection of the skin, the body releases some chemical substances which make the skin red, itchy and swollen.
- Clobetasol is a steroid that acts by blocking the synthesis of natural substances, i.e. prostaglandins, which are responsible for itching, swelling and redness.
- Miconazole works by inhibiting the formation of a fungal cell wall component, which leads to altered permeability and growth of fungus, causing infection.
- Neomycin is an antibiotic agent which is widely used for treating various bacterial infections of the skin. It works by inhibiting the growth and multiplication of bacteria causing infection.
- Collectively, all these medicines work more effectively by reducing infection and inflammation of the skin.

Interactions with other medicines
