Contraindications
- If you have an allergy or hypersensitivity to nitrazepam or any other ingredients present in the Nitrosum 2.5 mg Tablets.
- If you have acute narrow-angle glaucoma.

- Your symptoms do not get resolved, or your condition worsens.
- You have long term cardiac, liver, and kidney disease.
- You have an addiction to alcohol or medicines.
- You conceive during the course of Nitrosum 2.5 mg Tablets.
- You have a history of depression or anxiety.
Directions for Use
- Always take the Nitrosum 2.5 mg Tablets exactly as directed by your doctor.
- You can take Nitrosum 2.5 mg Tablets with or without food.
- Swallow Nitrosum 2.5 mg Tablets whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush it.
- For optimal pharmacological effects, take Nitrosum 2.5 mg Tablets at the same time every day for the prescribed duration.
- Do not alter the dose of Nitrosum 2.5 mg Tablets without consulting with your doctor.
- Do not use it post the date of expiry stated on the label.

Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- To avoid undesirable side effects associated with medicine interaction, inform your doctor about all medicines and supplements you are currently taking.
- Nitrosum 2.5 mg tablets can cause adverse reactions when taken with the following medicines:
- Interaction with other sedative medicines such as benzodiazepines like lorazepam, diazepam and opioids like morphine, codeine can increase the risk of sedation, respiratory depression, coma and death because of additive CNS depressant effect.
- Interaction with tricyclic antidepressants like amitriptyline, imipramine can increase the effects of this medicine.
- Interaction with moxonidine enhances the sedative effect of the medicine.
Interactions with food items
- There are no known adverse interactions of Nitrosum Tabs with food. Unless your physician suggests, there is no need to avoid any particular type of food or drink when taking Nitrosum 2.5 mg Tablets.
