Nitrosum 2.5 mg Tablets fall under the therapeutic classification of benzodiazepines. Nitrosum 2.5 mg Tablet is most commonly used for the treatment of insomnia. Insomnia is a sleep disorder in which
a person has trouble falling and/or staying asleep. Nitrosum 2.5 mg Tablets are composed of nitrazepam. It is also widely used as a sedative/hypnotic and in the management of myoclonic seizures (fits or convulsions with quick, involuntary muscle jerk). This medicine has a calming effect, which helps you to sleep. Nitrosum 2.5 mg Tablet is a prescription medicine, and it is to be taken exactly as suggested by the physician. Do not take in more than prescribed amounts as it may cause harmful side effects. Consult your physician immediately if you experience any side effects, worsening of your condition, or allergic side effects. Do not stop taking the medicine even if you feel better. - Interaction with moxonidine enhances the sedative effect of the medicine.
