- Treatment of Angina

- Acute circulatory failure associated with marked hypotension
- Myocardial insufficiency due to obstruction
- Conditions associated with elevated intracranial pressure

Mode of Action of Nitroderm Tts 5 MG
How Does It Work?
Nitroglycerin works by relaxing the blood vessels and smooth muscles, which reduces the cardiac load decreasing the oxygen demand, thus preventing chest pain.
Directions for Use of Nitroderm Tts 5 MG
- Use these patches as advised by your doctor
- Clean the area of application of the patch thoroughly, remove the protective liner of the patch
- It is recommended that the patch is applied to the lateral chest wall, with a sticky side inwards, place the patch evenly onto the skin
Interactions of Nitroderm Tts 5 MG
Interactions with other medicines
- Concomitant use of other vasodilators may potentiate the blood pressure-lowering effect of the Nitroderm Tts patch
- Concomitant treatment with calcium antagonists, ACE inhibitors, diuretics, antihypertensives, tranquilisers and tricyclic antidepressants may potentiate the blood pressure-lowering effect of Nitroderm Tts patch...
- Concurrent administration of dihydroergotamine with a Nitroderm Tts patch may increase the bioavailability of dihydroergotamine
- Co-administration with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines may reduce the therapeutic response of Nitroderm Tts patch
- Co-administration with acetylsalicylic acid may potentiate the blood pressure-lowering effect of the Nitroderm Tts patch

- Store below 30°C in a cool and dry place
- Keep the medication away from the reach of children and pets

Dosage of Nitroderm Tts 5 MG
Overdose

Missed a Dose
