- Tricyclic antidepressants and anticholinergic can cause dryness of the mouth and reduces the bioavailability of sublingual nitroglycerin
- Oral nitroglycerin actively decreases the first-pass metabolism of dihydroergotamine
- Nitroglycerin should not be administered in patients using sildenafil, tadalafil, and vardenafil
