Naprosyn D 500 Tablet

• If you are allergic to naproxen, domperidone or any other ingredient of Naprosyn D 500mg Tablet.
• If you are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin or any other medicine from NSAIDs.
• If you have an active or history of stomach/intestinal ulcers.
• If you have a history of liver or kidney disease.
• If you have a history of heart failure.
• If you are in the last trimester of pregnancy.
• If you are on medication to treat irregular heart rate.
• If you have a Prolactin-releasing pituitary tumour (part of the brain responds to release hormone prolactin).

• Heartburn
• Nausea
• Dry mouth
• Vomiting
• Constipation
• Diarrhoea
• Gas
• Indigestion
• Abdominal discomfort

Other General Warnings

• You have liver, kidney or lungs disease or disorder.
• You are or using it for an elderly person.
• You have any heart-related disease or condition.
• You have or had active stomach or intestinal bleeding, ulcers or perforations.
• You have any blood disorder.
• You experience any other side effect after taking Naprosyn D 500mg Tablet.
• Naprosyn D 500mg Tablet should not be used in children below 16 years of age, except for juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (arthritis since birth).

• Naprosyn D 500mg Tablet is to be stored in a cool and dry place.
• Protect it from heat and sunlight.
• Keep it away from children and pets.

• Naprosyn D 500mg Tablet is used to treat arthritis and other conditions that cause pain, swelling, and discomfort. It can also be used to treat and prevent migraine headaches. To avoid stomach upset, take Naxdom 500 tablets with meals at all times.
• Take this medication exactly as directed by your doctor. You should not exceed the recommended dosage.
• Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, intend to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding before taking Naprosyn D 500. In addition, tell your doctor about all of your medications and medical history.
• Some people may experience dizziness, drowsiness, headache, and dry mouth as a result of this medication. Please notify your doctor if any side effects bother you. Consult your doctor if you have a history of alcoholism.

Overdose

• Taking excess Naprosyn D 500mg Tablet may cause headache, agitation, altered consciousness, indigestion, chest pain, gastrointestinal bleeding, heartburn, drowsiness, dizziness, fainting.
• If you have taken too much of this medicine, contact your doctor or reach out to the nearest hospital immediately.

Missed a Dose

How Does It Work?

• Naproxen inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandin (chemicals substance causing pain and swelling) and reduces pain and inflammation in the joints and muscles.
• Domperidone works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (dopamine) in the brain, which causes a feeling of nausea and vomiting. It also increases the movement of the stomach and intestines.

Interactions with other medicines

• Some medicines can affect the way Naprosyn D 500 works or Naprosyn D itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
• Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements, or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
• Especially if you are taking medicines to treat high blood pressure, heart failure, high/abnormal cholesterol levels, blood thinners, anti-infectives, anti-diabetics, anti-asthmatics, pain killers, immunomodulatory medicines or medicines for the brain-related disorder.
