Mps 8 MG Description

MP 8mg tablet is a medication consisting of methylprednisolone, which is used for varieties of allergic conditions such as rheumatic disorder, asthma, systemic lupus erythematosus, ophthalmic and der

matologic conditions. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the treatment. Store the medication in a cool and dry place. Make sure to keep it away from children and pets. Do not take more than the prescribed dose. If you have taken more than the prescribed dose and experience symptoms of overdose, contact your doctor immediately or rush to the nearest hospital.

Interactions with other medicines

A rise in blood sugar levels can be seen when this medication is given with acarbose
Drugs like phenobarbital, phenytoin, and rifampin can decrease the effect of methylprednisolone
Ketoconazole and troleandomycin can decrease the clearance of methylprednisolone
The effect of anticoagulants can be decreased when administered with methylprednisolone
Cyclosporin and methylprednisolone, when used together, can result in convulsions
