Met Xl 12.5 MG Description
Metoprolol is an active ingredient in Met XL 12.5 tablet, an anti-hypertensive medicine, used to lower the raised blood pressure. It is used to treat high blood pressure and other heart-related condi
tions like angina (chest pain), heart failure and helps prevent complications. Metoprolol relaxes the blood vessels by reducing the load on the heart and decreased blood pressure. You must not abruptly stop taking the medicine as it leads to hypertensive crisis and heart failure. Avoid the use of the medicine for children below 18 years of age.
