Megest 10 MG Description
Megest 10mg Tablet contains medroxyprogesterone acetate, which is identical to a hormone called progesterone. It is used to treat several conditions such as absence of menstrual cycle; heavy, irregul
ar, or painful menstrual cycle; abnormal bleeding from the uterus, and endometriosis. Menstrual cycle is regulated by various hormones naturally produced by the body. Medroxyprogesterone, also called as progestin balances out the levels of one such hormone called progesterone. It also causes the lining of uterus to become thinner, which is helpful in treating endometriosis and endometriosis-related pain. This medicine is not recommended in children. Always consume Megest 10mg tablets as per medical advice.
