Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Avoid using this medication with anti-retroviral medications, as it can result in toxicity
- Proper monitoring is required when this medication is used with digoxin
- Concomitant use of lipicure tablets with aspirin, NSAIDs or antihistamine drugs may increase the risk of side effects
- Transport protein inhibitors can increase the systematic exposure of atorvastatin
- Atorvastatin with, atazanavir, ritonavir, gemfibrozil and ezetimibe increases the effect of atorvastatin
- Calcium supplements or antacids may interfere with the absorption of cholecalciferol
- Concomitant use of aspirin and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug may worsen the gastrointestinal irritation
