Medical Description

Levofloxacin eye drops are an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the eye. It stops bacterial growth.

Directions for Use

Instill Levotop eye drop in the affected eye as prescribed by your doctor. Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about one minute after instilling. Do not touch the dropper tip to the eye. Wait 5-10 minutes before applying other eye medications. Discard one month after opening.

Storage and disposal

Store at room temperature. Do not refrigerate or freeze. Discard after one month of opening. Keep out of reach of children.

  • Do not wear contact lenses until the infection clears up
  • Use within four weeks of opening
  • May cause temporary blurring of vision; use caution before driving or using machinery
  • Complete the full course of treatment even if your symptoms improve

Apply the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with the regular schedule.
