Glycomet 250 MG Description

Glycomet 250 tablet is an oral anti-diabetic medicine. Glycomet 250 is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus. It is used to lower the raised blood glucose levels in the blood when lifestyle changes

like dietary modifications cannot control the blood glucose levels alone. Glycomet 250 tablet contains metformin as its active ingredient. It should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed. It should preferably be taken after meals. Glycomet 250 tablets should not be used by children below 10 years of age. Abrupt stopping of this medicine can result in increased blood sugar levels and complications such as harm to legs, eyesight, kidney and increase risk of infection.
