Glyciphage Sr 500 MG Description

Glyciphage SR 500 mg tablet is a medication used to treat type-2 diabetes. It contains metformin as its active ingredient, which works by reducing the production and absorption of glucose in the body. To ensure the best outcome, it is important to take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor, following the recommended dosage and duration.

It is best taken after a meal and should not be taken in excess of the prescribed amount. Do not stop taking this medication without consulting your doctor. Gluconorm SR 500 tablets, Obimet SR 500 tablets, Melmet SR 500 tablets, Biciphage SR 500 tablets and Bigomet SR 500 tablets also contain metformin as its active ingredient.

You may experience dizziness, increased sweating, weakness and difficulty concentrating that can impair your driving ability. Thus, you must take extra care when driving. Always keep sugar, juice or a bar of chocolate in your car while driving. In case you experience any of the symptoms, stop driving immediately and have the sugar/juice. Do not consume sugar-free at such episodes.
