Co-administration of antibiotics with acetylcysteine leads to the inactivation of antibiotics
The vasodilatory effect of nitroglycerin is enhanced in presence of acetylcysteine
Ingestion of activated charcoal may decrease the efficacy of acetylcysteine due to reduced absorption
Co-administration of antitussives may cause a fatal build-up of secretion
Co-administration of lithium with taurine may slow down the excretion of lithium out of the body
Taurine, when taken along with an antihypertensive medicines, may lower the blood pressure to a severe extent
