Fivasa Cream is an antifungal medicine containing Fenticonazole as its active ingredient. It is used to manage fungal infections of the vagina and vulva (opening of the vagina). Fivasa reduces vagina
l burning, itching and discharge caused due to fungal infection. Fivasa Cream is meant for vaginal application only and should be used exactly as recommended by your doctor. You may experience some application site reactions (like burning sensation) as side effects, but they normally fade away with time. Please report to your doctor if you notice the side effects persist or worsen.

- You are pregnant or are breastfeeding.
- Your symptoms do not improve within 7 days of using Fivasa Cream.
- You develop any allergic reactions after using this medicine.
- You develop any other symptoms or your condition worsens, immediately consult your doctor.
- You or your partner are suffering from or have had a sexually transmitted disease.
- You are above 60 years old.
- You have developed this infection more than twice in the last 6 months.
- Fivasa Cream can damage condom and diaphragms, thus making them ineffective. Please speak to your doctor about alternative methods of preventing pregnancy.
- Fivasa Cream should not be used in patients below 16 years of age.

How Does It Work?
Directions for Use of Fivasa 2 %
- Fivasa Cream is meant for vaginal use only.
- Use this medicine as directed by your doctor, follow the instructions mentioned on the pack.
- Lie on your back with your knees raised and spread apart.
- Fill the applicator with the cream and insert it into the vagina as far as it comfortably goes.
- Press the plunger of the applicator slowly to apply the cream.
- Wash your hands before and after using this cream.
- In case your eyes come in contact with this medicine, rinse your eyes with clean water immediately.

- Fivasa Cream is meant for vaginal application, thus it is less likely to interact with other medicines.
- Please tell your doctor if you are using any other medicines, over-the-counter medicines (that you buy without a prescription) and herbal preparations.
- While on treatment with Fivasa Cream, do not start, stop or change the dosage of your medicines without consulting your doctor.
- Please ask your doctor about alternative methods of contraception as Fivasa Cream can damage condoms and diaphragms, thus making them ineffective in preventing pregnancy.

- Fivasa Cream should be stored at room temperature, away from heat and moisture.
