The uses of Esolyst 40mg Tab 10'S include the treatment of stomach ulcers, ulcers in the first part of the intestine, gastritis, Helicobacter pylori infection or gastro-oesophageal reflux (also called heartburn).

How Does It Work?
This medicine reduces the amount of acid produced in your stomach. There is a pump in the stomach called the proton pump, which is responsible for the secretion of gastric acids. The medicine binds to the proton pump and blocks acid production. It is used in excessive acidity.

The missed dose should be taken as soon as possible. However, if it is time for the subsequent dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular schedule. Never double up your dose to compensate for a missed one.
