Erypeg 50 PFS Injection 0.3ml contains erythropoietin as the main ingredient. This injection is used to treat anaemia associated with cancer chemotherapy, chronic kidney failure, or zidovudine treatm
ent in AIDS patients. Erypeg 50 PFS Injection is also used before and after surgery to reduce the chances of blood transfusion. Erythropoietin causes the bone marrow to produce more red blood cells, thereby reducing anaemia. Erypeg 50 PFS Injection is only administered by a doctor. Do not self-medicate or swallow the contents of this injection. Before taking the injection, inform this doctor if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or breastfeeding. You also need to notify the doctor if you have uncontrolled high blood pressure. Common side effects include metallic taste, headache, muscle soreness, mouth sores, weight loss, difficulty falling asleep, joint or muscle pain, nausea, vomiting, or muscle spasms. If these effects persist or worsen, or if you experience other adverse effects, seek medical help immediately.
