Epilong Md 0.5 mg Tablet is a prescription medication that belongs to the class of benzodiazepines. Epilong 0.5 mg is used in the treatment of epilepsy and anxiety disorders. Epilepsy is a condition in which patients experience abnormal brain activity that results in seizures and unusual behaviour for some periods. There can also be a loss of awareness.
Anxiety disorder is a mental health condition that makes a person anxious and experience feelings of nervousness, panic, and fear. Epilong 0.5 mg contains clonazepam as its active ingredient, and it works by calming down excessive and abnormal brain activity. Hence, it effectively reduces the feelings associated with anxiety and reduces epileptic episodes.
It is firmly advised to adhere to the dosage schedule of Epilong Md 0.5 mg Tabs given by the doctor. Do not discontinue Epilong Md 0.5 mg Tabs abruptly, as that can result in withdrawal symptoms. Contraindications

- If you have narrow-angle glaucoma, a condition in which the iris of the eye bulges forward and narrows the drainage angle. Epilong can worsen the condition.
- If you have any liver diseases. Epilong 0.5 mg is broken down in the liver and removed through the urine. Liver diseases can lead to an increase in the medication, which can lead to toxicity that can worsen a patient's pre-existing condition.

- You want to discontinue the medicine. Suddenly discontinuing Epilong 0.5 mg may increase the risk of experiencing withdrawal symptoms, more so if the medicine has been used for a long time.
- You have a history of substance abuse. Epilong 0.5 mg Tabs have a habit-forming tendency. Any abnormal symptoms should be reported to the doctor immediately, and the patient's behaviour and mood should be monitored during the course of the treatment.
- You experience increased salivation. The risk of developing the same is increased in patients with respiratory diseases.
- Epilong 0.5 mg should be used with caution in elderly patients since there is an increased risk of side effects in the population. Dosage adjustment can be made with a suitable alternative in case of adverse side effects.
Directions for Use
