Medical Description

Dytor Plus Tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat swelling (oedema) caused by conditions like liver cirrhosis, heart failure, and kidney problems such as nephrotic syndrome. It is also prescribed to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) when there is excess aldosterone hormone in the body. By reducing fluid buildup, this medicine helps the heart and kidneys work more efficiently.

This tablet contains two active ingredients, torsemide and spironolactone, which belong to the class of diuretics (water pills). Torsemide works by increasing the removal of excess salt and water through urine, while spironolactone helps prevent potassium loss and maintains electrolyte balance. Together, they help control blood pressure and reduce swelling.

Some other medicines with the same composition are Dyloop Plus 10mg tablet, Jbtor Plus tablet, Torget Plus 10mg tablet, Torsid Plus 10/50mg tablet, and Aldactone T 10mg tablet. Always take Dytor Plus exactly in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop taking it suddenly without medical advice, as it may worsen your condition.

While using this medicine, follow healthy lifestyle habits. Avoid excess salt and potassium-rich foods, exercise regularly, and stay away from alcohol and smoking to get the best results. Drink enough water, but do not overhydrate unless advised by your doctor.

Side effects of Dytor Plus may include dizziness, increased urination, stomach upset, muscle cramps, or electrolyte imbalance (low sodium or high potassium). These are usually mild, but if they persist or become severe, consult your doctor immediately.
