Mode of Action

How Does It Work?

Durapain Capsule is a mixture of two pain-relieving medications, Diclofenac and Tramadol. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine, and Tramadol is an opioid. It prevents the release of chemical messengers in the body that produce pain and inflammation. Tramadol works by preventing pain signals to the brain and decreasing pain perception.

Durapain should not be used in conjunction with St. John's Wort (a natural remedy to treat depression). To avoid feeling unwell, stick to basic meals and avoid hot, rich foods (nausea).

  • Medicines like antifungals (itraconazole, voriconazole) may also interact with Durapain tablet.
  • Benzodiazepines (alprazolam, diazepam, estazolam, flurazepam, lorazepam, triazolam) (quinidine) powerful pain relievers have shown adverse reactions to Durapain.
