Mode of Action

How Does It Work?

Dipwell Plus tablet contains clonazepam and escitalopram as active ingredients. Clonazepam belongs to the class of benzodiazepine medicines. Functions by increasing the action of a chemical messenger in the brain known as GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid). It reduces the abnormal or excessive activity of nerve cells in the brain. It is responsible for its sedation properties. It may not cause any changes to GABA levels in the brain. Escitalopram raises serotonin levels in the brain by preventing its reuptake by nerve cells. Serotonin is a natural chemical messenger responsible for stabilising mood, causing happy thoughts, etc. It can also aid in other functions like sleeping, eating, and digestion.
