Decomic plus eye drops contain a combination of naphazoline and carboxymethyl cellulose which reduces the symptoms of irritation and redness in the eyes or dry eyes. Dry eyes can be caused by various
underlying illnesses, excessive use of cellphone, computer, TV, exposure to environmental pollutants. These eye drops should not be used while wearing contact lenses.

How Does It Work?
Decomic plus eye drops contain two medicinal components, naphazoline and carboxy methyl cellulose (CMC). Naphazoline reduces the irritation and redness of the eyes by narrowing the blood vessels, thereby reducing the increased blood flow in the eyes. CMC is similar to natural tears and works by reducing the dryness of the eyes....
Directions for Use of Decomic Plus Eye Drops
- Use this medicine as instructed by your doctor.
- Follow directions carefully & do not miss doses.
- Wash your hands thoroughly before and after instilling.
- Close your eyes for 2-3 minutes and do not blink or squeeze.
- Avoid touching your eyes with the dropper and it must be kept clean.
- Wipe any excess liquid from your face with a tissue.
- Use the exact number of drops recommended.

Q: Can I use the Decomic plus eye drops while wearing my contact lenses?
A: Do not use this medicine while you are wearing contact lenses. If your doctor has allowed you to use lenses, remove contact lenses before the instillation of Decomic plus eye drops and wait at least 15 minutes or more before reinsertion. A component of this eye drop (Benzalkonium chloride) is known to discolour soft contact lenses.
Q: Can I use the Decomic plus eye drops for eye infections?
A: Decomic plus eye drops have no role in controlling the infection of your eyes. It may offer temporary relief in irritation for a short while but will not cure the underlying infection. You should consult a doctor and take proper treatment for an eye infection to prevent worsening of symptoms.
Q: I have been prescribed 3 eye drops by my doctor. Can I use them all together?
A: If you have been prescribed multiple eye drops or ointments, make sure you give a gap of 15 to 20 minutes between the application/instillation of each.
