Rosuvastatin belongs to a group of medicines called statins. Rosuvastatin is used to lower the “bad” cholesterol and fat (such as LDL, triglycerides) along with a proper diet and raise "good" cholesterol (HDL) in the blood. Vitamin D3 is also known as cholecalciferol. It helps the body by using more of the calcium which is found in foods or supplements.
In addition to eating a proper diet (i.e., a low cholesterol/low-fat diet), other lifestyle changes that may help this D Rozavel 20 mg Tablet work better include exercising, losing weight if overweight and stopping smoking. The dose and duration of D Rozavel 20 mg Tablet vary among individuals depending on the condition and severity it is being used for. You should not take more doses than prescribed by your doctor. The use of this medicine without a doctor’s prescription can cause serious health issues....

Mode of Action of D Rozavel 20mg Tablet
How Does It Work?
D Rozavel 20 mg Tablet has two active components, rosuvastatin and vitamin D3. Rosuvastatin belongs to a class of medications called HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors (statins). It works by slowing down the production of cholesterol in the body to decrease the amount of cholesterol that will build upon the walls of the arteries and block the blood flow to parts of the body, brain and heart. Accumulation of fats and cholesterol along with the walls of your arteries (atherosclerosis) decreases blood flow and the oxygen supply to your brain, heart and other parts of your body. Lowering your blood level of fats and cholesterol with the medication rosuvastatin has been shown to prevent heart attacks, angina (chest pain), strokes and some kind of heart disease.
Vitamin D3 helps control how much calcium and phosphate your body absorbs from the food you eat. Calcium and phosphate are essential for healthy bones, teeth, muscles, nerves and basic bodily functions. Low vitamin D3 can cause bone and muscle weakness which increases the risk of osteoporosis.
