D Rozavel 20Mg Tablet

• D Rozavel 20 mg Tablet is used in,
• Treatment of high cholesterol level if you are at risk of heart attack or stroke. It is used in adults, adolescents and children 6 years or older for high cholesterol.
• Lower the risk of stroke.
• Lower the risk of atherosclerosis.

• If you are allergic to the active or inactive components of D Rozavel 20 mg Tablets.
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• If you are suffering from liver disease.
• If you are suffering from severe kidney problems.
• If you have repeated or uncontrolled muscle pains or aches.
• If you take a medicine called cyclosporin (which is given after organ transplants, rheumatoid arthritis).

• Constipation
• Stomach pain
• Dizziness
• Difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep
• Depression
• Joint pain
• Headache
• Memory loss or forgetfulness
• Confusion

Other General Warnings

• You conceive during the course of D Rozavel 20 mg Tablet.
• You have or have ever had hyperparathyroidism hormone, kidney disease, or have high blood levels of calcium.
• You are suffering from problems with your liver.
• You have had unexplained or recurring muscle aches, a personal or family history of muscle problems, or a history of muscle problems when taking other cholesterol-lowering medicines.
• You experience symptoms of allergic reactions such as difficulty in breathing, with or without swelling of the face, lips, tongue and/or throat, which may cause difficulty in swallowing, severe itching or rashes visible on the skin (with raised lumps), and muscle rupture.

• Take the D Rozavel 20 mg Tablet as directed by the doctor.
• Swallow D Rozavel 20 mg Tablet as a whole with a glass of water. Do not break, chew, or crush it.
• D Rozavel 20 mg Tablet can be taken with or without food.
• For optimal pharmacological effects, take D Rozavel 20 mg Tablet at a fixed time every day for the prescribed duration.
• Do not alter the dose of D Rozavel 20 mg Tablet without consulting with the doctor.

Interactions with other medicines

• To avoid side effects associated with medicine interaction, it is important to inform the doctor about all medicines and health supplements you are currently taking.
• The use of D Rozavel 20 mg Tablets with the following medicines can have an effect on the efficacy of either.
• Ciclosporin (used, for example, after organ transplants)
• Regorafenib (used in the treatment of cancer)
• Warfarin or clopidogrel (or other medicines used for thinning the blood)
• Fibrates (such as gemfibrozil, fenofibrate) or other medicines used to lower cholesterol (such as ezetimibe)
• Indigestion remedies (used to neutralise the acid in your stomach)
• Erythromycin (an antibiotic)
• Fusidic acid (an antibiotic)- If you want to take the fusidic acid orally, you must stop using D Rozavel 20 mg Tablet temporarily. Taking D Rozavel 20mg Tablet with fusidic acid may rarely lead to muscle weakness, tenderness or pain (rhabdomyolysis)
• Oral contraceptive (the pill)
• Hormone replacement therapy
• Medicine used in the treatment of viral infections, including HIV or hepatitis C infection: lopinavir, atazanavir, ombitasvir, paritaprevir, dasabuvir, velpatasvir, elbasvir, glecaprevir, pibrentasvir

Interactions with food items

• Avoid excessive consumption of grape juice (more than 1L/day ) with D Rozavel 20 mg Tablet.
• There are no other specific interactions of D Rozavel 20 mg Tablet with food. Follow dietary restrictions advised by the doctor.
