Clopicard 75mg Strip Of 15 Tablets
Description
Clopicard tablet is an antiplatelet medicine. This tablet reduces the risk of blood clot formation in the blood vessels and lowers the risk of heart attack, stroke, and heart-related chest pain. It contains clopidogrel as an active ingredient. Clopilet tablet, Deplatt tablet, Clopivas tablet, Clavix tablet, Clopitab 75 tablet, and Preva tablet are some other tablets with clopidogrel as an active component.
Clopicard inhibits the activity of an enzyme responsible for blood clotting. Along with the Clopicard, a slight modification in lifestyle, including a healthy diet, avoiding smoke and alcohol, weight loss, etc., will help manage the heart condition. Take Clopicard as advised by your doctor.
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not cut, break, or chew it. You can take it with or without food. It is crucial to complete the entire course of the medicine and avoid stopping it halfway without consulting your physician, as sudden discontinuation can increase your risk of cardiovascular diseases. Incorporating lifestyle modifications such as maintaining a healthy diet, avoiding smoking and alcohol, and managing your weight is strongly recommended to help manage your heart condition while on this medication.
Potential side effects may include stomach pain, diarrhea, indigestion or heartburn, and abnormal bleeding or bruising. You must inform your doctor about any existing blood disorders, prior brain stroke, or kidney/liver diseases, or if you develop Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP), or if you are undergoing any surgery, including dental procedures, inform your surgeon and doctor that you are taking this antiplatelet medicine.
