Medical Description
Clopivas tablet is an antiplatelet medication. This tablet lowers the risk of blood clot formation in the blood vessels, as well as the risk of heart attack, stroke and heart-related chest pain. It contains the active ingredient clopidogrel. Clopivas works by inhibiting the activity of an enzyme that is involved in blood clotting.
Along with Clopivas tablet, a slight change in lifestyle, such as eating a healthy diet, avoiding smoking and alcohol, losing weight and so on, is more helpful in managing the heart condition. This medication is typically prescribed to patients who are at high risk of having a heart attack or developing cardiovascular disease.
Clopilet tablet, Clopitab 75 tablet, Clavix tablet, Clopicard tablet and Preva tablet are some other tablets with clopidogrel as an active component. Take Clopivas exactly as directed by your doctor.
