Medical Description

Clonit S ointment is used to treat scaly, itchy patches on the skin, particularly in psoriasis and eczema. It contains two active ingredients: clobetasol, a potent corticosteroid that reduces swelling and itching; and salicylic acid, which helps remove thick, scaly skin and improves penetration of the steroid.

Contraindications

Do not use Clonit S ointment if you are allergic to clobetasol, salicylic acid, or other ingredients. Avoid use in viral skin infections such as herpes simplex, shingles, or chickenpox. Do not use on acne vulgaris, rosacea, or in cases of skin tuberculosis.

Pregnancy

Breast Feeding

Directions for Use
