Medical Description
Uses
- Ciplox-TZ tablet is used to treat infection of the stomach, liver, tooth, pancreas, abdomen, vagina, cervix uterus, urinary tract, lung, throat and airways.
- It is also used for the prevention of infection, which may happen after surgery and operation.
Contraindications
- If you are allergic to ciprofloxacin, tinidazole, similar medicines or any ingredient of Ciplox-TZ tablet.
- If you have serious blood disease or brain disorders.
- If you have a history of serious allergic reactions including allergy of the skin due to any antibiotic.
- If you are pregnant (especially during the first trimester) or breastfeeding.
- If you are taking a medicine called tizanidine for muscle spasms.

- You have liver and kidney diseases
- You have watery diarrhoea and black tarry stools, immediately stop the medicine and inform the doctor.
- You may experience blood disorder, anaemia and abnormal blood count.
- You may experience irregular heartbeat and difficulty in passing urine.
- You have diabetes, then the blood glucose may drop when you are on the medicine. You may experience pain, swelling in the joints or tendons, take a rest, stop the medicine and inform the doctor.
- You may experience muscle pain and muscle weakness (myasthenia gravis).
- You have a history of fits.
- You may experience burning, tingling, numbness or pain sensations.
