Medical Description

Ciplox-TZ tablet is an antibiotic medication used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections. It effectively treats infections of the urinary tract, reproductive organs, lungs, stomach, teeth, and airways. It is also commonly prescribed for abdominal infections such as acute diarrhoea or dysentery, and it may be used to prevent infections after surgery.

This medicine is a combination of ciprofloxacin and tinidazole, which work together to eliminate the harmful bacteria responsible for the infection.

The dose, frequency, and duration of Ciplox-TZ are determined by your doctor based on your condition. It is very important to take this medication exactly as prescribed and to complete the full course, even if you start to feel better. Stopping it prematurely may cause the infection to return or lead to resistance, making the bacteria more difficult to treat.

Some other brands that contain the same combination of ciprofloxacin and tinidazole include Esipflox Tz tablet, Cifran Ct tablet, Cifomed Tz tablet, Cidalox Tz tablet, and Ciprodex Tz tablet. Always use the brand prescribed by your doctor.

Before starting Ciplox-TZ, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Also, share your full medical history and details of any other medicines or supplements you are taking to avoid unwanted interactions.
