Its deficiency can be confirmed by some lab tests and complaints like weak sex drive, infertility, impotence, hair loss, weak bones and muscles. Uses of Cernos 40 MG

For the treatment in men with low levels of testosterone causing-
Impotence caused by hormonal disorders.
Infertility caused due to an insufficient number of sperms.
Decreased sex drive, decreased mental and physical activity.
Weak bones (osteoporosis) due to testosterone deficiency.
After removal of testicles (castration or a similar problem called eunuchoidism).

Contraindications of Cernos 40 MG

If you are allergic to testosterone undecanoate or any other ingredients of this medicine. If you have or suspect a cancer of the prostate or breasts. If you suffer from liver cancer.

Interactions of Cernos 40 MG

Interactions with other medicines

Concomitant use of following medicines may decrease the action of Cernos Capsule-
Insulin or other medicines for diabetes.
Medicines called blood thinners (warfarin, ecosprin).
Blood levels of the following medicines can be affected when given along with testosterone-
Antibiotics such as rifampicin.
Medicines for fits (barbiturates, carbamazepine, dichloralphenazone, phenylbutazone,
phenytoin and primidone).
Medicines containing steroids or other hormones (prednisolone, hydrocortisone) should be given judiciously as concomitant use may lead to increased water retention in the body.
Discuss with your doctor about any other medicines, herbal preparations and supplements you are taking currently to avoid any possible drug interactions.
