Uses of Bifona 1 %
- Used for the treatment of various topical fungal infections, including athlete's foot (tinea pedis)
Contraindications of Bifona 1 %
- If you are allergic (hypersensitivity) to bifonazole
- To treat nappy rash in babies
- To treat nail and scalp infections
- To treat vaginal infections.

Mode of Action of Bifona 1 %
How Does It Work?
It kills fungi and yeasts by interfering with their cell membranes.
Directions for Use of Bifona 1 %
- Topical use only.
- Before use, pierce the tube seal by inverting the cap over the end of the tube and press.
- Before applying the cream, your feet should be washedand dried thoroughly, especially between the toes.
- The cream should be applied thinly and evenly to the affected areas once daily, preferably at night before going to bed, and rubbed in gently.
- Treatment should be continued for as long as the doctor has prescribed.
- It may help to use an antifungal dusting powderas well. Ask your doctor or pharmacist to recommend one.

Interactions with other medicines
- Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or
- have recently taken any other medicines, including
- medicines obtained without a prescription, especially
- warfarin (an anticoagulant used to prevent blood clots). There may be a risk of bleeding in case of large skin surface being applied to.
Storage and disposal of Bifona 1 %
Store the product in original carton.

Dosage of Bifona 1 %
Overdose
- Excessive use of Bifona creme can cause serious irritation. Bifona creme may cause a local skin irritation which can be very similar to the symptoms of the infection. If any of your symptoms gets worse, stop treatment and see your doctor as soon as possible....
- If you accidentally get cream in your eyes or swallowed , washimmediately with water and contact your doctor.
Missed a Dose
Apply the cream as soon as possible and then continuethe rest of your treatment as usual.

- Always wash your hands after treating the infectionto prevent it from spreading.
- Wash your socks, stockings and tights thoroughly in hot water to remove any shed skin or fungal spores.
- Change your footwear daily if possible.
Q: How much longer do I have to use the Bifona creme?
A: The symptoms of athlete’s foot, such as itching or soreness, should improve within a few days of treatment although signs such as redness and scaling may take longer to disappear. If symptoms do not improve within 7 days, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
