Medical Description
Benitowa Beta tablet is a prescription medicine used to help control high blood pressure. It is commonly prescribed when a single medicine is not enough to manage your blood pressure effectively. By keeping your blood pressure within a healthy range, Benitowa Beta tablet helps reduce the risk of serious problems such as heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage, and supports long-term heart health.
Benitowa Beta tablet contains Benidipine and Metoprolol, which work together to lower your blood pressure. Benidipine helps relax and widen your blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily. Metoprolol Succinate slows down your heart rate and reduces the force of each heartbeat. Together, they lower the pressure in your blood vessels and reduce the workload on your heart, helping it function more efficiently.
This medicine should be taken exactly as advised by your doctor. It is usually taken once daily, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water and try to take it at the same time each day for best results. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet unless your doctor tells you to. Regular use is important, even if you feel well, because high blood pressure often has no obvious symptoms.
Some people may experience side effects such as headache, dizziness, tiredness, slow heart rate, ankle swelling, nausea, or cold hands and feet. These effects are usually mild and improve as your body adjusts. However, if you notice severe dizziness, fainting, breathing difficulty, or swelling of the face or lips, seek medical advice immediately.
Before starting Benitowa Beta tablet, tell your doctor if you have heart problems, liver or kidney disease, asthma, diabetes, or circulation issues. This medicine may cause dizziness, so be careful while standing up quickly or driving. Do not stop taking Benitowa Beta tablet suddenly without talking to your doctor, as this can cause a sudden rise in blood pressure or heart-related problems. Always follow your doctor’s advice and attend regular check-ups.
