Contraindications of Attera 18 MG

  • If you have a known hypersensitive reaction to Atomoxetine and the Attera tablet ingredients.
  • If you were diagnosed with narrow-angle glaucoma, an eye disorder that causes raised tension inside the eye.
  • If you are currently taking other antidepressant medications.
  • If you have been diagnosed with an adrenal gland tumour known as pheochromocytoma.
  • If you have any type of heart ailment.
  • Do not take Attera medication if you have an aneurysm or any blood vessel disorder.
  • If you have any urinary retention issues.

A: No, Attera tablets do not cause addictive or dependency behaviour in people. It does not alter the level of dopamine in the body, a chemical messenger responsible for dependency behaviour.

Q: Can I stop taking the Attera tablet if I feel better?

A: Stopping the Attera tablet abruptly does not cause any withdrawal side effects. A few studies have shown that symptoms do not reappear if this medicine is stopped. However, do not stop taking Attera tablet without notifying your doctor.

Q: Can the Attera tablet cause addictive behaviour in me?
