Atocor 20mg Tab belongs to the statin group of medicines, which are used to decrease the amount of bad cholesterol or low-density lipoprotein (LDL) from the body.

Uses of Atocor 20mg Tab

  • Decrease the content of low-density lipoprotein
  • Treatment of high cholesterol (Hypercholesterolemia)
  • Prevent the occurrence of stroke in individuals with heart conditions
  • Treatment of hypertriglyceridemia (excess triglycerides)

Contraindications of Atocor 20mg Tab

  • Allergy to atorvastatin or any other statin medicine
  • Ongoing liver disease
  • Abnormal liver tests
  • Pregnancy or planning a pregnancy
